1. Who We Are

EzySearch is a hyperlocal discovery and commerce platform operated by EzyDevops Solutions Private Limited, Tirupati, India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your information when you use the EzySearch websites, the EzySearch AI customer app, the EzyVendor app, the EzyRunners app and any related services.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you give us

Account details — name, mobile number, email, password.
Profile details — addresses, preferred language, profile photo.
Vendor / runner details — shop name, GST, bank account, KYC documents (Aadhaar, PAN, driving licence as applicable).
Order details — items ordered, delivery instructions, ratings and reviews you submit.

2.2 Information collected automatically

Location — precise (GPS) and approximate (network) location to show nearby vendors and route deliveries.
Device data — device model, OS, app version, language, IP address, push token.
Usage data — searches, taps, page visits, in-app events, crash reports.
Cookies / local storage — for sessions, theme preference, login persistence and analytics.

2.3 Information from third parties

Payment status from our payment gateway (Cashfree / others).
Map and place data from Google Maps / equivalent services.
Authentication and notification metadata from Firebase.

3. How We Use Your Information

To run the core service — search, order, payment, dispatch and delivery.
To verify vendors and runners during onboarding.
To send order updates, OTPs and important service notifications.
To personalise search results and recommendations based on your area and history.
To detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse and security incidents.
To improve EzySearch through aggregated analytics and product research.
To comply with legal obligations (e.g. tax invoices, lawful requests from authorities).

4. Sharing Your Information

We share information only with the parties needed to deliver the service:

Vendors — your name, delivery address and order details for the order you placed with them.
Runners — your name, mobile number and delivery address while a delivery is active. Contact details are masked where possible.
Payment partners — to process payments, refunds and payouts.
Service providers — cloud hosting (Azure), database, push notifications (Firebase), analytics, customer support tools — all under contract.
Legal authorities — only where required by law, court order or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal data to advertisers.

5. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Order, invoice and payment records are retained for the period required by Indian tax and accounting laws (typically 8 years). KYC documents for vendors and runners are retained for the duration of the relationship plus the legally required period after termination.

6. Your Rights

Access & correction — view and update your profile and addresses inside the app at any time.
Deletion — request account deletion from inside the app or by emailing us. Some records may be retained where the law requires.
Withdraw consent — turn off location, notifications or marketing messages from app settings.
Grievance officer — for unresolved concerns, contact our Grievance Officer at the email below.

7. Security

EzySearch uses TLS 1.2+ for all data in transit, encryption at rest for databases, hashed passwords, role-based access controls and regular security reviews. Payment information is handled directly by PCI-DSS compliant payment partners and never stored on our servers.

8. Children

EzySearch is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can remove it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the app or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
